Beijing Capital and Beijing Daxing are both major international gateways, but they sit on different sides of a very large city. The correct transfer begins with the airport code, terminal and hotel district, not with a generic promise to meet you in Beijing.

The airport code changes the whole road plan

Beijing Capital International Airport uses the code PEK and lies northeast of central Beijing. Beijing Daxing International Airport uses PKX and lies far to the south. Neither airport is simply better. A hotel near Sanlitun or the northeastern business districts may favor Capital, while a southern address can make Daxing practical. Flight availability still comes first, but the road after landing should be considered before the ticket is purchased.

Build the pickup around immigration and baggage

The scheduled landing time is not the chauffeur meeting time. Immigration, baggage delivery and customs vary by flight and passenger. Beijing has several practical centers. Wangfujing, Sanlitun, Guomao, the Olympic area and the hutong districts create different final approaches. Send the hotel name in Chinese when possible, plus the complete address. Two hotels can share an English brand name while sitting in different districts. The driver needs the exact entrance, not a pin copied from an unverified map listing.

Count suitcases before selecting a luxury class

A sedan can be excellent for one or two passengers with controlled luggage. An MPV gives a family, several cruise cases or mobility equipment more usable space. Larger parties may need a van or a separate luggage solution. Vehicle prestige does not repair an overloaded trunk. Changing airports is an intercity style movement

A connection between PEK and PKX crosses much of Beijing. It should never be treated like a terminal transfer. Confirm whether baggage is checked through, whether the traveler must enter China, and when the next airline closes check in. A private vehicle offers direct control, but it cannot remove immigration, baggage or road uncertainty. Protect a serious margin and discuss an overnight when the ticket is fragile.

For departure, work backward from check in

The return plan should begin with airline check in time, the correct terminal and the hotel pickup point. Add road margin for weekday traffic, holidays and weather. Guests staying inside pedestrian hutongs may need a short walk to a legal vehicle meeting point.
