Factory Visits in Guangzhou, Shenzhen & Yiwu Without Lost Time

Multi-stop sourcing days engineered around dock access, market visits, supplier showrooms, permit windows, and cafeteria traffic. One dispatcher controls timing while bilingual chauffeurs coordinate with factory reps, hotels, and buyer teams.

Why Yiwu needs a different transport plan

Yiwu is usually less about one formal factory gate and more about practical movement: hotel to market, market to showroom, showroom to warehouse, then back to a train station or hotel with samples. A normal point-to-point transfer can work for arrival day, but a buyer day is better handled as standby service.

For International Trade Market visits, we size the car around sample bags, catalogs, cartons, and the number of buyers. A sedan may be enough for a simple station pickup. An MPV or van is usually better when the team is collecting product samples or moving between suppliers.

Common sourcing itineraries

Most buyers do not visit only one city. A realistic itinerary may start with a Hong Kong to Guangzhou transfer, continue with Canton Fair meetings, then move to Yiwu for market sourcing. Others start in Shanghai or Hangzhou and use Yiwu as the main buyer base.

For Yiwu-only planning, read the Yiwu chauffeur service guide.

Build factory days by geography and purpose

A useful factory day begins with compatible addresses. Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Shenzhen, Zhongshan and Huizhou can belong to one sourcing journey, but they should not be treated as neighboring districts. Group suppliers by industrial cluster and decide the purpose of each visit before the route is confirmed.

Tell the host whether the meeting is an introduction, production review, quality audit, sample approval or contract discussion. The time required and the people who should attend will be different. Ask every supplier for the Chinese gate address, host mobile number and visitor registration procedure.

Protect the working part of the visit

Carry passports when the site requires registration. Confirm protective equipment, photography rules and whether devices are allowed on the production floor. A chauffeur manages the vehicle and transfers. A sourcing specialist, interpreter or quality inspector should be arranged separately when the visit requires those skills.

Leave room after each appointment for notes, samples and unexpected discussion. Three strong visits can be more productive than six gates reached without enough time to understand the operation.

Plan samples and luggage honestly

Tell us if the day may produce cartons, prototypes or display cases. An MPV offers more flexibility than a sedan, while a van or separate luggage vehicle may be necessary for a delegation. Confirm who is authorized to take custody of samples and never leave confidential material in an unattended vehicle without an agreed arrangement.

What to send before the route is priced

Provide the hotel, every factory address, host name, appointment window, passenger count, luggage and sample estimate. Mark the visits that cannot move and identify any flight or train that creates a hard finish. The operations team can then challenge an unrealistic sequence before the buyer loses a day on the road.

Questions to ask each supplier

Confirm whether the address is an office, showroom or production site. Ask which gate receives international visitors, whether passports are needed and how long the complete visit usually takes. If the site arranges lunch, decide whether it supports the schedule or whether a short meal near the next cluster is more practical.

For multi city sourcing, keep one live itinerary and one authorized coordinator. Local chauffeurs may change between Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Yiwu, while one dispatch thread carries the passenger preferences, samples and next arrival details forward.
