Cookies and similar technologies are small files or entries stored in your browser. This page lists what this website uses, why, and how to change your choices.
- Essential storage keeps the site working. It is always on.
- Advertising measurement and session recording are optional. You choose from the banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
- We honour the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.

1. What we use
We use three kinds of storage. Essential storage is needed for the site to work. Advertising measurement tells us which advertisement led to an enquiry. Session recording helps us find confusing steps in our pages. The last two run only if you allow them (in Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland nothing optional runs until you choose).
2. Essential storage
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| cc_consent (cookie), cc_consent_v1 (browser storage) | Remembers your privacy choice | Up to 180 days |
| cc_lang, cc_currency (browser storage) | Remember the language and currency you choose | Until you clear your browser data |
| Session storage entries (for example an enquiry reference) | Keep your booking plan together while you use the site | Until you close the tab |
Our staff and suppliers use separate sign-in cookies on our private operations pages. They are not set for ordinary visitors. When you pay, the Airwallex checkout page sets its own cookies under Airwallex’s policy.
3. Advertising measurement
If you allow it (and outside Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland until you choose otherwise), we load the Google tag, which sets cookies such as _gcl_au and _gcl_aw for up to 90 days. We also set a first-party cookie, cc_ad_attribution, holding an opaque code (never the click identifier itself) for up to 90 days, so that a confirmed paid booking can be linked to the advertisement that brought you. If you decline, we do not load the Google tag and we remove this cookie.
4. Session recording
If you choose “Accept all” or switch it on in Customise, we load Lucky Orange, which sets its own cookies and browser storage to record clicks, movement and scrolling on some pages. If you do not allow it, it does not load.
5. Your choices
- Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to change your choice at any time.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then work less well.
- If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a choice not to allow advertising measurement or session recording.
6. Fonts and other providers
Our fonts are hosted on this website, so your browser does not contact Google to display our text. Third-party services such as Airwallex (payment) and WhatsApp (when you choose to message us) are governed by their own policies once you leave our pages. Read how we handle personal data in our Privacy Policy. Questions about cookies? Email concierge@chinachauffeurs.com.
